The situation

Terms agreements, framework contracts and supplementary contracts were created and managed decentrally. Deadlines, obligations, versions and approvals could only be tracked transparently with considerable effort.

Our approach

On a digital platform we introduced a versioned contract file with a roles and permissions model and an audit trail. With a clause library, deadline management and digital review, approval and signature workflows we standardised recurring processes; lawyers were responsible for deviations and complex decisions.

The result

Central control

Contracts, versions, deadlines and obligations are available in one place.

Secure approvals

Clear workflows and escalation paths reduce process risks.

Better traceability

The audit trail and roles model support compliance and internal audit.
