Territorial scope — exclusions
Liability claims with a foreign element: Cover does not extend to liability claims arising from activities
- via law offices or offices established or maintained in other states,
- in connection with advice on and dealings with non-European law,
- of the lawyer before non-European courts.

Out-of-court dispute resolution
Upon application, in disputes between lawyers and their clients there exists the possibility of out-of-court dispute resolution at the respectively competent regional Rechtsanwaltskammer (§ 73 Abs. 2 Nr. 3 in conjunction with § 73 Abs. 5 BRAO) or at the Schlichtungsstelle der Rechtsanwaltschaft (Arbitration Board of the Legal Profession) (§ 191f BRAO) at the Bundesrechtsanwaltskammer, E-mail Schlichtungsstelle@brak.de, website www.brak.de.
We are neither obliged nor willing to participate in a dispute resolution procedure before a Verbraucherstreitschlichtungsstelle (consumer arbitration body).
