The situation

In a cyber attack, email, computers and internal communication channels can fail. At the same time, statutory deadlines continue to run; notifications and interaction with the Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) must still function under crisis conditions.

Our approach

We established a legally robust incident process for assessment, escalation, documentation and timely notification to the BSI. A digital platform serves as an independent communication and evidence channel; an alternative emergency contact that can be reached at any time ensures availability even if email and internal systems fail.

The result

Reliable reporting channels

NIS2 duties, deadlines and authority communication are organised on a binding basis.

Crisis-proof availability

An alternative emergency contact works independently of internal systems.

Complete documentation

Decisions, notifications and follow-up measures remain traceable.
